The Gershen Group, LLC, was founded on the principles of providing solutions, and working with our communities to evoke a better understanding between people and their environment. In 1959, our oldest firm was founded by Alvin E. and Mildred B. Gershen. While our history in 1959 began as a planning and engineering firm, those services ended in the mid-1970’s when we shifted our focus to real estate consulting, and eventually began property management. In 1972, Moderate Income Management Company, Inc was formed and in 1974, MICO Management. Even to this day, we continue to add to our services providing services including affordable housing property restructurings and affordable housing compliance services.
Today, our firms are responsible for a growing portfolio of properties. We are a leading property management firm that represents a diverse group of clients and properties throughout the New Jersey and Delaware region. Through our affiliated companies of Moderate Income Management Company, Inc and MICO Management Company, Inc, we continue to best serve our properties and our communities.
